DOCUMENTARY FILMMAKING

Picture
The power of visual storytelling can be yours with the help of our documentary filmmaking services

We have produced a library of over 50 short films, some of which were produced independently and some of which were commissioned. We specialize in "run & gun" unscripted video, created in real-time collaboration with our partners to capture and maximize the energy and POV (point of view) of their mission and aspirations.

Across our productions, whether commissioned works or our own projects, our aims include helping amplify marginalized voices, advancing bold leadership, sharing lessons learned, and bolstering peer-to-peer networking.

We can work with you to document a specific event or craft a dynamic story arc.

Below is a selection of works we've produced, including the trailer for IR's award winning film, Immuto (Change), and some commissioned works, as well as contributions we've made to other collaborators' productions. There are additional select films available on the IR Foundation website.

The trailer and 30 minute video, co-produced with the Centre for Local Prosperity:
From the Great Unraveling towards a Great Turning, 2024
The trailer for IR Foundation's award winning documentary, Immuto (Change), 2020.
Atlantic Food Action Coalition (2023). Produced for the Centre for Local Prosperity and filmed at the historic Thinkers' Lodge, Pugwash, Nova Scotia
Pacific COP 26 Demands (2021). Produced for the Pacific Islands Climate Action Network -PICAN.: On an emergency request, we edited this short video over a long weekend, using declarations made by PICAN activists and shot on personal phones just ahead of COP26 in Glasgow. Present for the Conference, we helped coordinate projections of the video on buildings around Glasgow during the meetings.
